At this point in our country’s history I feel a lot better about celebrating Canada Day this weekend than I do American Independence Day. So, with that in mind here’s a selection of some images I made while in Montreal for the Grand Prix.

Hey There,

My name is Ben Macri. I'm commerical and editorial photographer, surfer, goldendoodle dad x2 and a big fan of craft beer. I'm passionate about working with like minded people and brands to capture authentic and long lasting imagery. I live just outside of Portland, Maine and I work with a wide range of clientele throughout all of New England.

I'm originally from New York, specifically I grew up on Long Island (and yes it’s “on” not “in”). I have strong opinions on bagels, Billy Joel and the correct way to make an Italian sandwich (and the correct answer is not with ham and green peppers).

I initially studied photography at Nassau Community College with an incredible group of professors and students. after which I moved to Chicago and received my B.F.A. from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago.
